This is really just a quick update to thank everyone who donated because I was able to raise the $1000 USD needed (with a little extra) to reserve my place on the 2016 Uganda Trip! This really is incredible news and I'm so grateful to everyone who helped me out!
I'm over halfway towards by ultimate goal of $3000 USD, so now I'm putting all of my focus into offline fundraising.
Because my friend Nick (link to his page) is going on the same trip, we're doing our offline fundraising together.
We have two plans so far:
- A Mockingjay Part 2 movie fundraiser after all of the common NCEA exams are over, and
- A raffle fundraiser.
Hopefully, we'll have tickets printed soon etc., and I'll make another post when that's done, but for now, this is really all.
I'd just like to thank everyone once again for helping me make this trip a reality, your support means the world!
